Leaving the EU Single Market and Customs Union
Published:

With everything that’s going on in the world, we’re a little hesitant about posting this message – but we think it’s worth a quick reminder.
The most immediate and significant changes from 1st January 2021 will be around:
- How goods are moved across the border (export and import).
- How businesses provide services in the EU market.
- The immigration status of workforces.
- Data protection requirements.
The Government website at www.gov.uk/transition is a helpful point of reference and it provides a useful and interactive Transition Checker tool. This can generate tailored advice and a personalised list of actions for businesses to take by 31st December 2020. There is also an opportunity to sign up for alerts and updates as the guidance continues to be updated.
If we can help please call us on 01432 370572.
