We are delighted that Martha Trust Hereford, is one of the charities that we are supporting through this year’s Charity Golf Day, in conjunction with ABGI.

The charity was introduced to us by Bill Somers, who has been a trustee of the charity since 2005 and a keen supporter of our Charity Golf Days over the years.

The Trust runs two nursing homes, both in Hereford.  Martha House opened in January 1997 and Sophie House in October 2012.  The trust has 14 lifelong residents at each home.

Martha Trust is unique because there are no geographical boundaries nor age limits for residents and they provide permanent care for both children and adults.  The people living at Martha House and Sophie House have complex needs, and are totally dependent, requiring 24-hour care and nursing support.

The homes provide a lifelong loving, safe and secure family home environment and the goal of all the staff is to ensure that the residents lead fulfilling and fun lives.
