Ducketts Does Go Karting

What an incredible day we had during the first week of September!

The Ducketts team came together for a team-building day on the 4th of September. Our morning began at the Shell Store, where we kicked off with breakfast. Chris then gave an engaging talk on World War II strategies—and how we can still learn from many of them
today. Afterwards, Mark led us in a "therapy session" which, thankfully, didn’t result in any tears!

Feeling both educated and emotionally uplifted we returned to the office to reflect on the valuable insights from the morning. But the day didn’t end there! The team then headed to Herefordshire Raceway at Weobley to put our go-karting skills to the test and see just how competitive we are. It was an exciting afternoon filled with fun—no black flags were raised, although there was some controversy as Mark almost forced Carrie off the track. The race steward (Mark) adjudged that no offence had taken place!

Well done to everyone who raced and Mark who came 1st, and Callum and Phil just behind in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

We wrapped up the day with dinner at The Bell Inn, capping off a fantastic day.
